Carmen's Story
"My
name is Carmen Matos and I would like to tell you a little bit about
myself and how I came to meet Dr. Marvin Fier. I was introduced to Dr.
Fier as part of a program called Dress for Success.Having once been addicted to drugs, and abused both physically and mentally, through the grace of God and my daughter who is my best friend in the world... she gave birth to my grandson Jordan. Jordan's birth is what I call my intervention. His being born and the fact that my daughter was having a rough time, I decided then that I had to get myself together for the both of them.
I stayed and took care of the baby, left drugs alone and went to a job readiness school. There I took courses in computers and learned how to prepare myself for the business world. Through this course Dr. Fier entered my life.
They sent me to Dress for Success who in fact offered me an opportunity to get dental work done for free, having neglected myself for years, Dr. Fier took a chance with me and it was like meeting your own angel. He is and always will be my own personal angel. He worked with me and was so good and kind that I couldn't imagine my life without ever knowing a person like him. I look forward to my appointments with him because I always leave feeling reborn. Now I feel like a whole new person. Dr. Fier has given me back my self esteem, and most especially a whole new smile.
To me it's as if God looked down from heaven and decided to send me his best angel. He made me feel like a member of his family introducing me to his beautiful wife and his wonderful secretary. I can't imagine what heaven is like now that one of its angels is right here on earth."
